Enjoying Mom's Cake....Finally

After helping Kayla carry it around all day, Leanna really enjoyed my birthday cake, especially the frosting. If you look closely at the picture, you will see her eating utensil of choice for this occasion, a birthday candle. Yes, she did eat the cake with a birthday candle. Now that takes some talent!

Danielle Rides a Two Wheeler for the First Time

Now that Dad is done going to school, he has had some time to help Danielle learn to ride her two wheeler. Today was the day. Danny did the usual, running alongside and then letting go, and off she went. She was so excited and proud of her accomplishment. She was speeding up and down the street with great confidence. It was almost impossible to get her into the house for dinner. We are very proud of her achieving this milestone.

My Birthday

Hi everyone. My Birthday and Mother's day was a blast. Everyone was able to make it. Danny bought a small cake in the shape of a heart and Kayla and Leanna were carrying that cake all day, showing it to everyone and wanting to eat and celebrate my birthday. We kept telling them to wait until after dinner. We really didn't pay attention to how the cake was handled. It was dropped a few times while being carried around. When it was time to eat it we all laughed so hard when we saw the poor, smooshed cake. But it still tasted really good and we enjoyed eating it and laughing.
